The Delta Farmers Market is an outdoor, seasonal Summer market located at the corner of 5th & Meeker Streets in Delta Colorado.
The Market highlights local vendors selling everything from locally grown produce to locally created handcrafted items, to delicious baked goods & so much more.
We strive to keep our market open regardless of the weather or other conditions, however it is possible that we can have an unexpected closure.
We will post all important information to this page as well as in our Facebook Group.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Where is the Delta Farmers Market located?
The DFM is located at the corner of 5th & Meeker, one block east of Main St on the corner of 5th St, just one block south of the Post Office in Delta Colorado
When does the Delta Farmers Market open for the season in 2024?
We opened on May 18th 2024
What are the days and hours of the Market?
Wednesday (June-Sept) & Saturday (May - Oct)
8:30 AM - 1 PM
What can I expect to find at the DFM?
The DFM is a diverse market with one golden rule:
All products & services must be produced, created or
available to our local area, only.
You'll know it was produced right here by your friends and neighbors!
Whether it's fresh produce, eggs, honey, handcrafted works or anything else, it must have been produced in this area.
Handmade goods might have pieces & parts from other parts of the country or world, but the final product must have been produced nearby.
Are Direct Sales allowed at the DFM? Will I be forced to listen to an aggressive sales pitch or enter a corporate prize drawing?
Direct Sales vendors are not allowed. And neither is holding a customer against their will to listen to your pitch!
Only cordial, polite & respectful local small businesses & vendors selling their own produce, products & services are invited to our market.
Will the Market be called off for weather or other adverse events?
Probably not. It's not impossible, but it's not likely. We're a pretty hearty crew and sitting through a Western Slope rain storm happens so infrequently that we kind of like them! But the wind can be a whole other game. You just never really know until you're in it. We'll keep you posted right here if the Market is canceled, delayed or closes early.
Do vendors accept EBT/SNAP, WIC or other government assistance programs at the DFM?
Unfortunately, at this time our vendors do not accept any assistance payments.
Do the vendors accept credit/debit or gift cards?
Most vendors, but not all, do accept card payments. The vendors generally have signs posted but it's best to ask.
Are there going to be food vendors or musicians? Is this a street party?
We plan on having food vendors if at all possible & we will have musicians and other entertainment as available.
Every week brings something new to the Market!
If you are a performer who would like to share your gift we would LOVE to have you set up & join us!
Please email us for more info!
Is there plenty of parking?
There are two public parking lots on site & even more street parking. So YES.
Is it safe to bring my kids/parents/out of town relatives?
YES! The DFM is a very safe & comfortable environment! Stay aware of your surroundings when out in public of course, but we will strive to keep a safe & friendly market!
Can I bring my dog/cat/goat/iguana?
YES! Leashed & controlled pets are always welcome at the Market! You are responsible for their behavior, but many of the vendors bring free treats and sell awesome pet products! ***BONUS POINTS if they're cute & friendly!
What makes the DELTA FARMERS MARKET different than so many others?
This is YOUR Market.
The DFM has been in business since 1989 & isn't going anywhere.
That's 35 years of the best tomatoes, peppers, baked goods, honey, jams, leather goods, pottery, home crafts & so much more!
Others have come & gone, but we're still going strong!
Delta is a beautiful, friendly, welcoming town & with your patronage & support we'll be here for another 35 years!
We strive to bring our customers the best locally grown, high quality produce and locally sourced, produced & hand crafted items while giving you the opportunity to chat with the growers, the artists & the makers.
We want you to engage with us to learn new things while enjoying what you already like, meet new people while visiting with old friends, explore new products while being able to find your tried & true!
We want you to participate in our success!
The Market is here for & because of you!
Would you be interested in being a vendor at our wonderful DELTA FARMERS MARKET?
Do you sell local goods or services & can you commit to being somewhat polite, mildly engaging & at least a LITTLE personable?
Then we want you at our Market!
Our fees are more than reasonable and we'll do all that we can to help you with whatever it takes to make sales!
